WHAT:  Children's Museum of Winston-Salem WHERE:  390 South Liberty Street   Winston-Salem, NC 27101 WHEN:  Tuesdays - Saturdays, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.   Sundays 1-5 p.m.   Mondays: Open 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. between Memorial Day and Labor Day. During the school year, closed on Mondays except for Winston-Salem/Forsyth County public school holidays. Circulate It! sponsored by Brenner Children's Hospital, part of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, an Amazing Library sponsored by John Wesley & Anna Hodgin Hanes Foundation (Family Resource Center), Jack and the Beanstalk Climber which is a signature exhibit of the Museum and soars from the first to the second floor, The Doughnut Factory which is a child-sized factory encouraging children to enjoy cooperative play and discovery sponsored by Krispy Kreme Corporation, and a make-believe Food Lion Supermaket complete with packaged goods, the freshest fruits and veggies, and a deli sponsored by Food Lion Charitable Foundation. |
