Vegas Reunion Update!!!
Well, things are sizing up for the March 20th Bitburg "Mini-Reunion" in Las Vegas. We currently have 20-something folks confirmed, and another 20-something we are waiting for them to confirm their dinner choices. If you have seen our announcement here, and you have already called on your own and made reservations at the Sahara Hotel...don't forget to contact us about dinner choices. I'd hate for you to show up and go hungry!   You can contact me, or better yet email Daunten Veit (daunten "at" unitelc "dot" com) and he will let you know the choices for dinner. These decisions must be made rather soon since March 20 is not that far away.We are working on making sure that Bitburger will be available at the bar!!! The dress code is flexible. It's not black tie but it's not exactly tie-dye either. Remember, no shirt, no shoes, no service. Dress comfortable and bathing is always important. Oh btw, if your old uniform doesn't fit...don't wear it!  Bring your significant other (if they can stand to hear you talk anymore about "how great Bitburg was"), have a 'nosh, maybe a beverage or two or three, and relax...no regulations or inspections here. Only one rule, have fun...try not to get hurt. And try firing up the discussions here or over at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/bitburgairbase/ ...these websites have far-reaching implications. Our most recent Las Vegas-confirmed Bitburger heard about our website and our Mini-Reunion from someone stationed in ITALY  . PLUS, he knew a great source for Bitburger Pils in Las Vegas!So if you are looking for somebody...post it here or over at the Yahoo Bitburg Group or both. Either way...keep up the traffic and you're bound to stumble across somebody. Hope to see a few of you out in Vegas. DJ |

OK, here's the latest from Daunten: We will being meeting/gathering in the meeting room of the "House of Lords" restaurant in the Sahara Hotel. Social Hour starts at 7:30pm with dinner to follow. If you did not get a dinner choice to Daunten do not worry food  can be ordered from the restaurant.Don't forget to bring some photos! Daunten has also secured a slide projector if you happen to want to bring slides. I will be taking some digital pictures which may be posted on the website. If you don't want your parole officer or ex-wife to know you were there make sure you tell me  Please be sure to bring your own cameras 'cause you never know when the next time is you might get these folks out from under their rocks...but we hope we are starting something we can continue to build on for years to come.
