looking for the man who saved my life - 1983-1986

I was a military wife whos husband was stationed at Bitburg Airbase 1983-1986. Although we were Army, we had many AirForce friends. I soon became a victim of domestic violence and moved out of our apartment that we had on the economy for the first two years. A AirForce soldier named William J. Freeman became a wonderful friend and took care of me while my kids and I were away from my husband. I often think of him and wonder if he has had a good life. He will always be someone very special to me. All I remember is that he was from DePlaines, Ill, lived on the economy with a roommate names Rich White, I think. We used to walk through the cemetery in the village at night. One Mothers Day he talk me up to Berncastle where I fell and tore the ligiments in my knee. As painful as that was, I still smile when I think of it. Bill took great care of me and a part of me will always love him. I just cant seem to find him. I am hoping someone out there can point me in the right direction. Thanks . . .
