My tangerine sat for several years before I bought it. I bought many things for it to make it as safe as I wanted it (fire extinguisher, battery, solar panel, extra anchor, etc.) but the only factor that affected its seaworthyness from its storage was the stinky little mouse that decided that my sails were just soo tasty. Once they were taken care of the boat sailed just fine (fiberglass is notoriously long lived stuff and the metals are even more durable) |
