Hello all:
My boat got taken apart two years ago when it was taken out of the water and now I have a little issue in putting it back together. My issue is with the halyard that will raise the jib. As I found the line, the halyard is connected to the bottom of a double block about 3/4's of the way up the mast, and it is dangling now, inasmuch as I have stepped up the mast and put the boat in the water. Just below this double block there is a fairlead, but no line goes through it...yet.
I now have no way to hoist the jib with this halyard. I know I need to take the boat back out and lower the mast to get this right. I can't envision what I need to do. Please kindly instruct me what to do as there are no pictures/instructions in the manual and I can find nothing on the internet.
There will be no sailing without the jib this summer. I would appreciate all help offered!!!!
