I was wondering if anybody here sails in the Houston, TX area? I bought a 78 Tangerine almost a year ago, but only managed to take it out 4 times all summer. It's still pretty darn shoddy and in need of work, but it is sea worthy. Anyhow, now that the weather's getting nice down here, I'm starting to think of all the work I need to do on the boat (mainly clean, replace wood parts, and beautify the cabin). I am about as novice a sailor as it comes. Seriously, my first time to ever step on a sailboat was the first time I set mine in the water. I think it took me an hour and a half to figure out how to set up the sail that first time, too! So, if anyone with some working knowledge of these boats lives in the area, I'd love to meet up some time.
