Hi, my wife and I are going to pick-up our first sailboat tomorrow. We purchased a Renken 18 on eBay and will travel to northern Ohio to pick it up. We live in the Cincinnati area and plan to sail on the local lakes (maybe Lake Erie some day!). I used to sail years ago with my brother-in-law on his two-man boat. We had many fun weekends but then 'life' got in the way, he sold his boat, and now some 25-years later, with the kids thru college, my wife and I thought we would try our hand at sailing again. The price was right for the little boat and trailer. The current owner says the boat got very little use and was stored in-doors for most of it's life. We'll see it for the 1st-time tomorrow (purchased sight unseen!). Hoping for the best. Nice to see there is a resource on the web for these boats. I imagine I'll visit from time-to-time
