A PHRF rating would be nice to know, but owners should check their local clubs to see which ratings they will accept. The Tangerine/Sigma/Renken falls into a size of boat not encouraged to race in most of our local regattas. Our Wednesday night series restrict entry to boats over 22 feet at the waterline.
If you need a PHRF, contact the largest local yacht club and check to see if they will run the PHRF formula based on local measurements. Then you can petition to have it "dialed in" as your finishes dictate. PHRF ratings are known to vary from Yacht Club to Yacht Club for the same boat. Don't ask me why. But ratings on the other boats I sail on vary from Annapolis to Charleston, to Key West with no changes to the boat.
