Message:		I stayed in Port Moresby for several months in the early 80s and enjoyed every minute. I was able to snorkle in the amazing clear water - seeing blue starfish, sea snakes and many species of fish. The local people were extremely friendly and beautiful. The Travelodge where we stayed had wonderful food - I remember the Lobster Au Gratin... and fresh papaya. I still have a wooden "story board" from Papua New Guinea and a carved crocodile. I feel so very lucky to have visited such an incredible country and would love to visit again some day.
