Message:		Our family lore includes a story of a great uncle circa 1850's who, as a boy, was ship-wrecked off New Guinea and grow up among a local tribe. According to the story, the tribe later took his name and was know as the Brooks Tribe. Can anyone confirm the existance of a Brooks Tribe or any part of this story?
