what style of fighting should I learn
Recently I have recieved a Katana from a good friend, but I do not know how to use it. I have tried to learn from what my martial arts master has told me but he only knows a limited amount of information on this subject. So far all I can do is block attacks . I've heard that there are many different styles of fighting and I would like to know which one would be best for my situation, and what steps I should take to learn this style of fighting? Any help on this subject would be much appreciated

I suggest Kendo, and Aikido. Kendo Fencing is excellent, also purchase the Book of Five Rings. Study the code of Bushido. Be warned, these things are not easy, and takes years of practice. Regardless, I wish you well. |

My suggestion would be to learn several sword styles. My sword teacher studied a lot of differnt forms then taught us a mix of kendo fencing freestyle and a lot of other styles as well. |
