EILEEN RUXTON
Dear friends Im sorry about the impersonal method that I am using to convey my tragic news but there are so many people to give the news to I thought this would be easier for me rather than calling everyone. Some of you may know this already but my wife Eileen, mother of Greg and Laura, has died in a tragic car crash last Monday on her way home from work, at 5pm on the A6 at Horwich. At the moment we dont know what the cause was. There was no other vehicle involved and weather conditions were fine. Her car simply left the road for reasons not apparent at the moment. The post mortem revealed no adverse effects from any health problems. She died as a result of cerebral haemorrhage as a result of the crash You can imagine how devastated we all feel. Basically to say that the cremation will be on Tuesday 18th at 12 o clock at Overdale cemetary (West wing) in Chorley new Road (nr Bolton school) and then afterwards (1pm onwards) at the RMI club, Chorley new road (nr the fire station and Aldi) Everyone who knew her is welcome to come. To the Crematorium; From the M61 junction 6, go down the A627 past the Reebok and Tescos up to the end where you will meet a roundabout and the Beehive pub. At the roundabout turn right for a couple of miles and it is on your right. To the RMI club From the crematorium go left upto the Beehive roundabout again and go straight over and carry on up Chorley new Road until you get to the RMI club on the right, more or less opposite the fire station. At the chapel of rest from Friday; Liveseys Church Road Horwich Friday 1-5pm Saturday 2-3 pm (or from 10am by calling Sandra first - 01204 696311) Sun 2-3 pm Mon 10-5pm Tues 9-11 am Anyone who knew her is welcome to come to the crematorium or/and the RMI club afterwards or can call me anytime on 01204 419151 or 07974 971591 (ask for map) Cheers Ged |

Its times like these that you just realise how good a set of mates you've got in the hockey world as well as family and our other close mates. You guys did us proud yesterday at Eileen's funeral when many of you who could get time off work or college etc were there for us. See you all soon Ged, Laura and Greg |
