In an effort to stop the nasty e-mails we have taken certain steps to stop the troublemaker whom we have identified. We will not say how but we think it may work.  If it does not, then we will have to go to full password.  However, in doing so there is a risk we may have stopped one or two genuine people and we simply do not know until we see what happens.

If you think we have deleted your message by mistake and you are genuine please e-mail us at busmuseum@hotmail.com with your message and we will post it immediately for you.

Message:   I agree, she is worth saving and does not need a lot as most of the body parts can come from the KE/C's and hopefully will put her back together.

KD156's engine is burning a lot of oil and possibly might be overhauled in the MVPSI workshops over the winter.

The main problem with KD184's engine is that the fuel system is only working on three cylinders facing the inside so thankfully with MG106, although they are not the same engine, some parts should be able to be adapted for 184, like what was done to E106. She also has a lot of pressure problems and as such may need to be run with a pressurised oil bath feeding the engine oil reservoir until she is run in.

Either way we'll give it a go.

Interesting to note that D711 is in bad shape, but having secured drawnigs for her, she will be rebuilt by an engineering works during 2009 if all the funding can be secured.

Stephen
