I can't seem to figure out why women are so quick to turn against other women. Are we just built that way? Is that mess in our blueprint? I hope not.

In my own life, I've watched women turn against other women for:

~Men
~Clothes
~Popularity/Attention
~Promotions
~Beauty (outward)

Now I'm not saying that women should stick together just for gender's sake. That's as bad as saying all women should vote for Hilary because she's a woman whether we agree with her policies or not. What I am saying, or rather wondering, is why women turn against other women so quickly? Interestingly enough, men don't seem to have this same problem among them.

this is a toughie suprina and i would think would have generated a lively and blunt discussion. i see this situation ALL the time and i've also done it TO MY EVERLASTING SHAME and the times i've done it it's been out of plain simple jealousy or complexes. you see a sister looking better-dressed better more intelligent whatever the reason and this ugliness comes out. i understand that it's because i am still insecure in some parts of my life and have to really build up confidence in some areas because appreciating other women will only be forthcoming if i can learn to REALLY appreciate myself first right? but that is easier said then done and is an ongoing everyday trial. yes girl-i still deal with insecurities about myself and i sometimes project them onto others. no good especially for a christian but i am trying with the Lord's help. but what i witness with other women seems to come from jealousies or insecurities. this is a shame because i also did remark that men don't seem to have this problem in the way that we do. why do catfights happen more often...hmmm is it in our blueprints and something we have to consciously work on eradicating in ourselves? i wonder. this is a subject that stumps me at times
